The Trifecta

Yesterday when I dropped Will off he was decked out in UT gear.
When I picked him up from school he was sporting his Duncan jersey
To top it off, one of the parents asked me this morning if I was able to get the spaghetti out of Will's cowboy jersey from yesterday, so yes we did it....we managed to support the horns, spurs and cowboys in one day at school. Three sets of clothes to wash, but I don't mind. Now the sand that comes in his hair and shoes into the house/car every day is another story.

Visitors

We've been blessed with some fun visitors the past couple of weeks. A little belated but here a few weeks from the big Ehlert visit (thanks Popo, Rara, Uncle John & Aunt Becky)
Thanks to Dad and Uncle John I got to sleep in why the boys had coffee on the patio.
It rained most of the weekend, but luckily the Texas basketball game was on to watch!
Uncle John introduced us to Swamp People, I'm hooked.
While the Ehlerts were in town Mark completed his first solo cataract
Two weekends later our friends from Boston came to visit. We had a great weekend with them and enjoyed celebrating St. Pat's day together. Special shout out to our Shamrock(Leisha) who turned the big 31 on St. Pat's day. St. Pat's day treats courtesy of pinterest.
 Wearing our green.
Will couldn't get enough of Lilly!
We love having visitors so if you are in the area or if you come across any Masters tickets casa del Trevino is open for all.

Hail to the Chief

First Day of Residency
It seems just like yesterday that this journey of residency began, but it was really almost three years ago. This week, it has hit me hard that this journey is almost over and the next track of life is racing towards us. Racing towards us like a freight train. In just the last couple of weeks alone, discussions have begun regarding where we will end up which is frightening and exciting all at the same time. Mark also completed his 1st catarak solo and was named Chief Resident starting in July. All very exciting news and we are so proud of him.

Evans Craft Beer Festival

Saturday we hit up the Evans Craft Beer Festival. I hate that Mark missed it because he loves craft beer and talking about brewing. Will had a blast with his friend West and I enjoyed watching him noodle to the live band (he's got some sweet moves!)

Guess who got Mommy The 1st Hunger Games Book...

This Guy...
My boys know me to well.

Back to the blogity blog: Two weekends a go we had Mark's department ice skating party! I was excited to see if Will would love the ice. To keep it short and sweet: Gus the Riverhawk mascot showed up and Will and I had to retreat to the bleachers to watch from afar. I don't see Disney world in our immediate future.
Mark is in San Antonio for a review course so Will and I are dog sitting Haley (named after Auburn's Haley Center) for Dr. Brad. Haley is really good and Will and I are enjoying having her around.
Popo, Rara, Aunt Becky, and Uncle John came in last weekend as an early b.d. treat to me. Will was beyond excited to see them and had so much fun with them. We are sad they are gone and Will keeps telling me he is going to get on an airplane to go see Popo and Rara in Texas.
