SA

On Friday morning after Ehlert Christmas card pictures and a short stop to see Uncle Stephen & Uncle Riggs we headed to San Antonio to see Nana, Tony, Stacey, Cowboy Jake, Grandpa Doc & Grandma Doc. Grandma Doc cooked a wonderful dinner Friday night and Saturday night we headed downtown with Nana, Tony and Stacey to eat on the Riverwalk. We had a great time seeing everyone and also got to help Stacey and Jake celebrate Baby M's future arrival at their baby shower.

Will at Stacey's shower! He had so much fun helping her open the presents-I think he is ready for Christmas.

When we got back to Augusta last night Mark noticed our neighbors already had their Christmas decor up-let the Christmas decorating begin. This is what we have up so far...more to come!

Aunt Fab & Uncle Doc

We love being an Aunt and Uncle and spoiling our niece and nephew rotten. Every time we go back we have so much fun seeing how much Elle and Eli have grown. Thanksgiving weekend was no different. I enjoyed having dance parties with Elle and snuggling with Eli and Mark taught Elle longhorn kisses. I already can't wait to see them at Christmas and play! Have I mentioned we are counting down the days to Baby M's arrival in late January and Baby A's appearance in early Spring to add to our cool Aunt and Uncle status!
Eli (2 months)

Elle decided it was time for Will and Mark to get up and play, Will got quite excited as he loves Miss Elle!

Elle & Will playing with the slinky!

Thanksgiving

The game was not pretty, but luckily we got to enjoy watching it with B, Jen and mom at Leishas with the kiddos and avoid the cold. We did make it to the tailgate and got to eat yummy turkeys that Kris smoked, Emerils mac & cheese that Mrs. Linda made and a great pesto torte that momma Parker prepared. Plus we got to see Mrs. Heidi finally and Little Reese and our good friends Jeff & MK who are living in St. Louis.

Three things that remind me of Thanksgiving:

Turkey, texas vs. a&m and the cowboys.

And just because...

Black Friday...It Brings out a little Sally O'Malley in All of Us

I won't be hitting up the black Friday shopping scene as Ehlert Christmas Card pictures call, but I am loving the Target commercials for it...could it be b/c I oddly find a connection with the training montage!

CUPCAKES!

I have a small obsession for cupcakes. While I am mostly a salt and cheese girl cupcakes have a very special place in my heart along with strawberry shortcake and banana pudding. At Halloween I made owl cupcakes for friends (oreos for the eyes, brown m&ms for the pupil and a candy corn for the nose-I was channeling Martha Stewart) Last night a friend sent me these-way more creative than my owl cupcakes.

Baptism Sunday

(Dr. Holmes, The Hall Family and Debra and Scott.) A special thanks to Scott for the great pics and coming on his day off, The Halls for all their encouragement and Mrs. Debra for entertaining Will!

The Happy Family

Dr. Holms while baptizing Will spoke of his name William (meaning a strong will-which he showed at the top of his lungs during parts of the service) and Ashley (meaning peace, which he was after we got him home, fed, changed and a good nap)

The Explorer

This weekend Mark was on call so it was quality Amy/Will time. We had a blast and it was so much fun (and exhausting) to see him exploring! I also found a lot more things we need to baby proof:)

Our Little Boy

Little boys are treasures
Who are worth their weight in gold.
And charm everyone around them
From the time they're minutes old.

They're Mommy's little darling,
They're a special pal to Dad,
And they bring the very happiest days
A family's ever had.

Weekend Wrap Up

Friday night we took it easy after a long week. We made homemade chilli, drank some home brews and watched Toy Story 3. We may have gotten a bit sentimental when Andy goes to college thining of Will...we are going to blame the cerzevas. Will didn't quite make it through the whole movie, or should I say he didn't even make it to the start.

Saturday we got excited for the horns game...it was ugly, but Will was cute! Thanks Lala for our cute hat!

Since we had an extra hour before church on Sunday we woke up and had Mark's infamous breakfast tacos and Will dressed in his Sunday breakfast best...Luke I am your father.

The Itsy Bitsy Spider

With ten legs...

Also Happy Birthday to Aunt Candice who is turning the big 30!

A Little of This and A Little of That

We have learned that at daycare once you turn one and move up to the next class bottles are not allowed, so we have entered operation sippy cup bootcamp.Cute yet masculine sippy cup-check; teaching Will to drink from it instead of chew on it...well we are still working on that!

As you can tell from Will's small frame, we have our work cut out for us. What can we say...he is a Trevino and loves those bottles!

Will also have discovered a new toy, he loves the door stops! I'm not sure if it is the spring or noise that he loves best, but it sure does keep him entertained

Lastly a little shout out to Cowboy Jake, Grandpa Doc, Dub, The Austin Boys, Lulu and all our favorite hunters! Will dressed in his camo wishing he was hunting in San Saba with the Popo, Kris, Matt, Michael, Mal, Uncle John, Trey and Mr. Walt.
