Home Sweet Home

After 3 days and viewing 30 houses, we finally found the perfect house. I must say we made a good team, Amy kept me on my toes looking for hardwood floors, molding, etc. and I made sure to remind her to stay in budget. The house has a great yard and four bedrooms so we are ready for everyone to come visit!

It's Britney

When I heard Britney was back, a group of girls from work and I decided we had to see her. Georgia and I were lucky that our loving husbands agreed and got us tickets for our birthdays. While Britney is still a bit of a train wreck, we had a blast at the concert and reminiscing her JT days!

Espana

For graduation we both decided to treat ourselves with a fun trip to somewhere we've always wanted to go, Spain! We had a blast traveling from Barcelona to Murcia to Valencia to Toledo to Madrid. The scenery was amazing, the paella was great and the wine was out of this world. We were also lucky to be there when Semana de Santos was taking place (week of Saints--week before Easter.) We can't wait to go back and explore more regions of Spain!

If it Harms Beavers, We are Against It

As most of you know, it is very rare that we are in Houston for a weekend. Instead, we usually are trecking across Texas for sporting events, parties, weddings or to see our friends and family. The weekends are always a blast, but the drive can be brutal. Luckily there is Buc-ee's. Where else are their clean restrooms, cheap gas, corn nuggets, beef jerkey, and signs to entertain you 100 miles out.

Matchmaker, Matchmaker Make Me a Match

Thursday, was Match Day--they day where all fourth year medical students around the country find out where they will be heading for residency. We are so excited, Mark matched and will be starting his ophthalmology residency in Augusta, Georgia! I am looking foward to becoming a southern peach and excited to visit our friends who have matched at some pretty cool places!
