We celebrated V-Day on the 13th since Marcus was off and boy did I get spoiled. Mark took the early morning feeding so mom could get a little shut eye which was a real treat since he is usually already at work. Then Mark whipped up some of his famous breakfast tacos & coffee. Since I had been treated like a queen I decided to take my two boys to a brewery in Aiken, SC. Mark loved it and the boys both got their milk stout (well Mark drank the milk stout beer and Will is getting his milk in a bottle.)
When we got home we started our V-Day tradition. We pick out a recipe go to the store and then spend the early afternoon and evening cooking, talking and drinking great wine (thanks Dub for the Jamon!) Cooking was fun, dinner was amazing but the real treat was Mark and Will surprised me with a cupcake after dinner. I love cupcakes and hadn't had one since the first month of my pregnancy...it was delish! Then after everyone's advising I finally quit waking Will up to feed during the middle of the night and we slept through the night!!! It was amazing and daddy rewarded him with 2 books (Dr. Seuss & The Little Red Hen). Were now 2 for 3 so lets hope this streak keeps going.
Well, it's no DC or Dallas but Augusta got snow today! It hasn't snowed here in 8 years so the town went crazy with everyone stocking up on groceries and gas. It's supposed to be gone by tomorrow but we are enjoying it while it last!
We Trevino men like to stay as clean as possible...so we bathe every two days or so. We finally figured out that if we kept the water level up, Will just likes to hang out and kick around. So here we go with the first video upload. Rated pg-13 since we covered up his you know what
We've been married for six years and have some great memories with family and friends from the hills of Austin to the citylife of Houston. Now living in Augusta, Georgia and expanding our party of three to four, we hope the blog brings laughs, memories and lets you know of all the adventures we are up to.
