Great Minds Think Alike (Well Sort of)

Mark starts PGY3 tomorrow (more surgeries and no call for a year, we're quite excited!) I decided to celebrate by surprising my boys and picking up a slip and slide! Mark has been wanting one and every time the neighbors are playing on theirs Mark always seems to find his way over with his swimsuit on. Will is still getting acquainted with the slip and slide, but I'm sure he will be a pro by the end of the summer.

Mark decided to celebrate another way... buy a few flats of grass. We finally killed off our monkey grass in the back yard and were shocked to realize how much more space we have now. I'm not sure what our plans are for it yet, but I'm sure Mark will come up with something.

 I tried to get a bite, but Will would have none of it. We are still working on the sharing thing...I can't say I blame him, I have a hard time sharing my bluebell too:)

Guess who starts their last weekend of call today? Yes, the hunk sitting next to me. So only four call days left (this weekend and next Wednesday) and we get a break for one year! Will and I are super excited and looking forward to having dad with us for football games this Fall. Did I also mention that Mark is officially half way done (2 years under the belt and 2 more to go.)

Four Legged Friends

We headed to the farm to market on Saturday. Mark and I scored some great fresh fruit, pink eye peas and homemade bread. Will was entertained by all the four legged friends walking around and requested to pet each one he saw.

Aunt Lala's Wedding

What a beautiful and fun wedding weekend in H-town! The best part was getting to see all the ladies who I miss dearly and Aunt Lala was a gorgeous bride. Will enjoyed getting to see his best friends Lucy & Gus and Mark and I also got to see Will's friends Nina and meet her new brother Mike Jr. too! Did I mention that we also got to make a quick trip to Austin to see cousin Eli baptized. Now we are on the count down for Cat's and Aunt Beamer's wedding, wohoo!
