UGA Augusta Bulldog Club Spring Meeting

Don't worry we still bleed orange, but when Coach Richt comes to town you might as well at least see what he has to say about the upcoming season. I doubt the Dogs & Horns will play each other this year, but just in case Mack has secret spies here in Augusta.
Did I mention Bowden is suppose to be coming to town as well in the next few months, I guess we may have to check him out too.

Easter Sunday

After a packed church service we headed to one of Mark's attending's houses who had invited us and a few other residents to share Easter lunch with her and her family. It was so nice to meet Dr. Green's family and Will had a great time chasing her grandchildren around. The food was wonderful (I was a bit thankful I wasn't preparing a full on Easter feast) and Dr. Green has the most beautiful pink peonies in her yard so of course I was in heaven. I think I see a tractor and a nerf football in our immediate future and was so thankful to spend Easter with good friends.
P.S. Thank you MK and Jeff for Will's cute bubble, it made a perfect Easter outfit!

Reid Memorial Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday we hit up our church's Easter Egg Hunt and Will had a blast

Good Friday

Growing up Good Friday was always celebrated with friends, family and fried fish. Mark and I have kept the tradition going, but this year decided to take a hiatus. With Mark taking the boards last week, a rambunctious Easter egg hunt planned for the next morning and us gearing up for a busy spring/summer we decided to spend the night doing something we love, cooking and enjoying some vino. It's hard to believe that two years a go we were in Spain for Easter so what better way to celebrate good Friday than by making some good ole Paella. The food was amazing, the company was even better and the vino...well it's in our name so of course it was good. What a great Good Friday even if it was spent a little different than we are used to.

Growing Like a Weed

We might not be growing in length like a weed, but Will's hair sure does. Since turning one Will's had his hair cut three times. Every month I debate about cutting his curly locks and alabama swoop that I love, but when it starts getting in his eyes and over his ears I break down.
Before

Mom lets go get it cut.And after (hooray)
You can't tell by these pics but we took a good inch 1/2 off, but of course had to leave the front a bit longer for Mom and Aunt Stacey.

15 Months Update

Willie T has 5 teeth, is in the 35% for heighth, 50% for weight and 90% for head size (must be all those brains!) He eats anything in sight and loves to be outside playing. His favorite toys are his red wagon, the cozy coupe and his lawn mower. He definitely is all boy and loves a good game of chase, jumping into pillows and tackeling his big stuffed animals. His favorite word right now is "ah oh," and his favorite song is the itsy bitsy spider.

Masters Part II

Once the Ehlert clan left the Mirelez clan arrived which was awesome! We love having our family in Augusta with us and we got to meet our new niece for the first time. Sabrina Rose is such a cutie patootie and seeing Cowboy Jake and Aunt Stacey was a treat for Will and his mommy and daddy! We miss you guys and love you.

Great Friends

When Mark and I lived in Houston one of our favorite things was getting to meet up with Candice and Steven outside of Houston for dinner. I have known Candice and Steven for decades and can not say enough good things about them. Luckily, they scored tickets to this years tournament which meant a get together in Augusta! There is honestly nothing better than getting to catch up and see your friends when you live 16 hours apart. Will loved playing with them and scored a great book and stuffed turtle from the Atlanta Acquaruim. Thanks Aunt Candice and Uncle Steven for visiting, it made our weekend!

The Masters (Monday's Practice Round)

"Best Trip Ever" ~Elle Ehlert

I think Elle summed it up perfectly for all of us "Best Trip Ever!" We loved having mom and dad, Kris and Leisha and Elle and Eli come visit for the Masters! It's amazing how fast the kids are growing up and it was so nice to get a dose of Texas here in Augusta. While they have only been gone a couple of days we sure do miss them and can't wait till we see them again!Masters Cupcake to Celebrate the 1st Practice Round And because no get together is complete without a matching Ehlert grandkid photo The Ehlert Ladies after our day trip to Aiken at Hammonds Ferry
