R&R

Chalk it up to jobs, med school, residency, and our hetic lives to put a damper on our traveling schedule. In 7 years we have taken two trips sans kids (1. Cabo: our honeymoon 2. Spain: after med school which left us with a wonderful addition 9 months later.) So when we got the chance to go to a continuing medical education seminar right before we moved at the Cloister on Sea Island we signed up immediately. The food was to die for, the hotel shopping was impeccable, and I swear our room was bigger than most of my apartments. We also got to catch up with our friends the Pattersons, enjoyed the beach and scenery, and I got to do a little shopping at the bailey boys outlet while Mark was in conferences. It just goes to show you that some of the most beautiful places are right here in the good ole USA.

I get by with a little help from my friends....

and family! Mark's fam has been great helping us get adjusted in San Antonio, but we couldn't have done it with out the Ehlerts too. People ask why we left Georgia and we tell them over and over again: Family and Friends. It's the two things Georgia was missing. We are so lucky to be back among everyone and Will is enjoying getting to see his cousins more.

Swing Coach

With work, residency, and kiddos my golf game took a bit of a hiatus while we were in the golf capitol of the world. Luckily, with Mark off the week before he started work we were able to head to First Tee and my love/hate affair with the game returned. I also got Will in on the action and paid the price:)

Happy Birthday America

On the 4th we tagged along with the fam to the SACC party. The fireworks were great and there was plenty of entertainment for Will.

Thanks Aunt Serena for having us!

Happy Birthday Aunt Stacey

What a treat to have Aunt Stacey, Uncle Jake and Sia in town for our first weekend in SA!

Were slowly getting up and running so lots of post to come.
