Okay, I know it is election day (yes I rocked the vote,) but after seeing all the negative, silly ads here in Georgia I can not blog about it. So...Happy Day of the Dead! Honestly, the little calaveras used to give me the heebie-jeebies when I saw them, but when you end up minoring in Spanish (it was only one extra class than required in for the communications department) you develop a fondness for the pagentry of the holiday. The holiday is bright, beautiful and marigolds are everywhere... and how lovely to celebrate our passed loves ones and their memories rather than mourning them.
